Don’t Push It

Went trail running with Danika again today. We returned to Cougar but it was a lot harder going than last week even though the conditions were better. My legs didn’t wake up until the bitter end, and Danika didn’t fare too well initially. I believe it’s due to my increasing age. I was out until after midnight last night watching Sharon Jones at Neumo’s and my first comment looking in the mirror this morning was “Do I have more grey hairs?”.
About 40 minutes in the best little trail/section was Anti-Aircraft and as we came out at about 1 hour 13 mins, Danika got all energetic and we ran another mile or so. 15 minutes later we were done though.
