Environmental Twinge

I was going to take the car to drop Woken Furies off at the library when I finished it tonight. It’s already two days overdue.
The library is less than a mile away, but it was dark outside.
I managed to reach the car before my conscience kicked in on the amount of gas it would take to get there, so I decided to drop the book off tomorrow – even if it costs another 15 cents in fines.
A brief victory for the environment. For some reason I feel unjustly proud.
