Danika gave me an early birthday present – a new lens for my camera. As I was playing about with it, I grabbed this crazy shot of a tired Danika, which quickly saved me from a dull aphotoperday.
New lens – 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor – my first ever prime lens. Although it auto-focuses it doesn’t zoom, so you have to be more creative. In return it focuses fast, works in less light and is easirt for me to use off Auto (if I ever build up the courage to go there). The 50mm is about 75mm in 35mm ratio, so it makes a perfect “portrait” lens.
