A few days ago I was racking my brain for this term, now I find wikipedia has a whole Chav article.

    Why, if I may ask, were you looking for ‘Chav’? And why not opt for a more ethnically closer-to-home term like ‘ned’ or ‘schemie’?

    Please tell me this isn’t in the wake of the Jade Goody International Crisis ( “Chav Starts WWIII!”)...
